Since its inception in 1988, the Church of Champions has flourished under the visionary leadership of Rev. Dr. Wendell Hutchins II. Starting from his living room, Dr. Hutchins has grown the ministry into a vibrant community with a global impact, serving as both the senior pastor and a beacon of faith and reconciliation on the world stage as a United Nations Peace Ambassador.
Renowned for his eloquent teachings and practical wisdom, Dr. Hutchins profoundly impacts both local and international Christian communities. Alongside his wife, Ann, and their family, he embodies a life of dedicated service. Church Of Champions in Houston is located at 12922 Cutten Rd, Houston, TX 77066, easily accessible from major roads and public transport. You can find a map and directions on our “Contact Us” page.
Our services are held every Sunday at 10:00 AM. We also have online bible study on Tuesday at 7:00 PM. Check our events calendar for special services and holiday schedules.
We have ample parking available on-site. When you arrive, you’ll find designated parking areas for visitors, families with young children, and those with disabilities. Our friendly Parking Dreams Team will assist you.
Yes, we offer a vibrant children’s ministry for kids of all ages called CHAMP KIDS. During our Sunday services, children can enjoy age-appropriate bible lessons, activities, and worship in a safe and fun environment. We also have a nursery for infants and toddlers.
A typical service at Church Of Champions includes uplifting worship music with a live band, a message from our pastor Wendell Hutchins, and altar call to have time for prayer and reflection. Services usually last about 90 minutes. We strive to create a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can encounter Jesus and feel part of our community.
Joining a ministry is easy! Visit our “Serve” page to learn more about the different opportunities available. You can ask at church to speak with one of our ministry leaders after any service. They’ll be happy to help you find a place to serve that matches your gifts and passions.
Joining a group is a great way to connect with others and grow in your faith. You can join any group by visiting our “Connect Groups” page under the GROW button, where you’ll find a list of Connect Groups and Life Groups with their meeting times. You can sign up online or talk to our small group coordinator at the information desk on Sundays.
We encourage everyone to get involved in serving our church and community by becoming part of the Dream Team. There are many ways to serve, from volunteering in our children’s ministry to joining our worship team, becoming part of our social media outreach, welcome and parking team or helping with community outreach.
